The Audi e-tron is everything you would expect from an Audi, powered entirely by electricity. With its aerodynamic design and elegant, luxurious cabin, e-tron marks a new era, not just for those seeking the benefits of electro mobility, but for everyone who demands the driving experience of an Audi. Whether for city driving, weekends away or towing, e-tron is adaptable and suitable for everyday use.
Every Audi is designed for comfort, safety and performance and e-tron is no different. Stay glued to the road with quattro all-wheel-drive, illuminate the night with Matrix LED lights and get traffic information and notifications through MMI navigation plus. All of this is displayed through the standard high resolution Audi virtual cockpit. The Audi e-tron uses the networked intelligence of Audi connect to help you plan your journey. Whether through the in-car MMI system, the myAudi smartphone app or desktop website, e-tron offers a range of Audi connect systems, including a route planner. This calculates routes and highlights charging stations, the estimated charge time and incorporates traffic data to calculate your arrival time. With this easily-planned schedule, the e-tron is as suitable for long trips as it is for everyday use.
With the Audi e-tron, electric efficiency sacrifices nothing to performance. An electric motor at the front and one at the rear jointly produce 300kW of power, propelling this full-sized SUV from 0-100 km/h less than six seconds. Unlike a combustion-powered vehicle, the acceleration response is almost instant, providing a thrilling sensation.
The interior of the Audi e-tron is spacious and comfortable and can accommodate four adults and 615 litres of luggage. Displays feature OLED technology and the Audi virtual cockpit comes with a new curved OLED screen. The unique panoramic glass roof is integrated with photo voltaic cells that generate energy for the air conditioning and heated seats, providing more sunlight for occupants and more efficiency for the car. In the rear, passengers can use the OLED displays in the centre console to adjust the climate control and infotainment.
The e-tron has a range of up to 391 kilometres* on a single charge. And with an ever expanding charging network, you can say goodbye to range anxiety. e-tron can be charged in a number of convenient ways. At home using a domestic socket or specially fitted wall box. Or on the road at a high-powered charging station. Where available, the e-tron can be recharged to 80% in just 30 minutes at a 150kW charge station and 100% in 50 minutes. Audi is working on expanding the charging infrastructure in Ireland through a joint venture called IONITY. This will see six charging stations built on main routes, with each station having six 150kW fast charge points.
The world is changing – and mobility is changing with it. Alternative drive technologies are Audi’s answer to the challenges we face around climate change & sustainability. Transformation of mobility is key to achieve this but this doesn’t mean abstinence, it means lower emissions combined with sporty performance to retain the thrill of driving. Audi is working hard on developing intelligent drive options. Discover our current and upcoming models with over 20 models expected by 2025.
